As a brief introduction, my name is Keith Brockman: welcome to the Strategizing Tax Risks blog site.
I was born in Chicago, Illinois in the US, attended DePaul University and have been an international corporate tax executive with over 30 years of experience primarily at US based multinationals. I am a CPA and CGMA. I reside in the US, and previously in Europe, providing an opportunity to view global developments with a US and European perspective.
I enjoy opportunities to share my experience at universities / law schools, international tax conferences, and writing professional articles, including a recurring column in the International Tax Review entitled “The Brockman Brief.”
This site is an innovative look at practical, thoughtful and creative Best Practices to strategize tax risks of multinational corporations. Current global tax events are discussed, including proactive development of processes and procedures to minimize related tax risks. The site is meant to promote discussions, insights and leading practices for global tax risks of multinationals.
The important topic of leadership is also addressed in posts and a separate page for recommended books.
I invite your comments, ideas and emails.
Global followers include the OECD, Big 4, global tax administrations, professors, scholars, tax advisors, etc.
Additionally, I welcome invitations for Board of Director opportunities.
